Lost Gazi Meal Card: Halkbank and QR Payments
If your Gazi meal card is lost, report it to the bank and ask about a replacement. The campus Halkbank branch can help; QR payment through Halkbank Kampüste may also be possible if your Jetkart account is eligible.
Report the lost card to Halkbank
Ask the campus branch about cancellation, replacement and your linked dining account. The bank's official lost-card guidance also gives 0850 222 0 400 for Halkbank Dialog.
Informing dining staff does not replace reporting the loss to the bank.
Use Halkbank Kampüste QR payments
Halkbank Kampüste supports QR payments at dining payment points. Sign in, check the linked Jetkart account and balance, and follow the QR instructions at the dining turnstile or POS device.
The SKS announcement of 21 September 2026 also describes QR payments after a Jetkart account has been opened. If a transaction result is unclear, check with staff before paying again. Ask the bank how cancellation of your lost card affects the account and QR-payment availability.
Ask about a temporary joker student card
The university's 19 November 2025 notice describes an in-person application with an identity-document photocopy and current student certificate.
The listed office is the Meal Administration (Jetkart) Unit, SKS B Block, second floor. Use SKS contacts to check current requirements and whether the route applies to you.
Understand the temporary receipt arrangement
The September 2026 notice gives temporary payment and printed-receipt options for newly enrolled 2026–2027 students until their Jetkart cards are distributed. It is not a general permission for every lost-card case. Check applicability with SKS and take payment details directly from the current official notice.
The end of an older receipt arrangement in 2025 and the new-enrolment arrangement in 2026 concern different periods and scopes.
