Gazi Meal Card Top-Up: ATM and Halkbank
To top up a Gazi meal card, use the bank account linked to the card. SKS explains ATM deposits, while Halkbank Kampüste offers options for eligible Jetkart accounts. YemekGazi itself does not accept payments or top-ups.
Understand the linked balance
The SKS instructions describe ATM deposits and using an available account balance at the dining turnstile. They date from 2020; today's ATM screens may differ.
Check current instructions through the bank and SKS rather than assuming the old screen sequence still applies.

Identify the correct linked account, verify the account holder and details, confirm the amount and retain the transaction record. If the account is unclear, ask the appropriate unit before depositing.
Use Halkbank Kampüste for top-ups and QR payments
Halkbank Kampüste provides account linking, linked-balance information and Bank24 Jet top-ups. Check the account linked to your card and follow the current top-up instructions in the app.
You can also use QR payments at dining payment points. The SKS notice of 21 September 2026 describes QR payments at turnstiles/POS devices after a Jetkart account is opened.
If the card still does not work
Check the transaction status and destination account, then ask the SKS card unit about card activation and dining eligibility. Include the transaction date and amount.
The reviewed instructions do not establish one guaranteed processing time for all deposits.
Find the route without a card
The September 2026 notice gives temporary receipt options for newly enrolled students until Jetkart distribution is completed. This does not cover every student or lost-card case; check the current notice for conditions and payment details.
